Hi, I am Candace Stangel. I want to talk about how the Speak from your Soul class was with Stephanie Schoolmeester. I want to begin by saying that this year I stepped into not not really being in a place where I was super excited to speak. I had so much encouragement from Stephanie and the other women that were in the group. It really helped me to become aware of my story and the power of my vulnerabilities that are important and special to share out to the world to impact other people. Stephanie helped me to dig deep into my soul to find topics that aligned with me. I had the opportunity to talk about my vulnerabilities which I was always taught not to talk about. It was a really beautiful venture and such a great pleasure to be in such a safe space with so many amazing women that also felt a lot of the same things I was feeling like fear and scared to share their message. At one point I remember calling Stephanie the night before my talk. I was in a frozen state of mind that never happens to me. It felt like I was a robot and was frozen in time. Stephanie jumped on a call with me and she really helped me to figure out how I move one foot In front of another. That meant so much to me because I don't really feel that I would have accomplished what I set out to accomplish if it wasnāt for her. So, if you're considering taking this course I would highly encourage it if you're not ready now. I would still encourage it because it is a tool for your tool box to get you to go. I want to share a testimonial about Stephanie and how her speaking literally changed the trajectory of my life.Ā
So I met Stephanie at Celebration in Minneapolis two years ago where she was giving a talk. She was talking about how her mission was greater than her fears. She admitted that she was afraid to be up on stage but kept telling herself, āMy mission is greater than my fears.ā

When I first started working with Stephanie 6 years ago I was very high strung; working hard to earn love, prove my value, feel worthy, find joy, feel important, and control my emotions so they didnāt control me. āMy greatest takeaway from the program was learning how important self care is and how easy it is to do for everyone else and leave myself empty. I learned to speak up for myself rather than being afraid to because I might be criticized or the person will get mad. I learned that I cannot control how others act or react to me...that I own my stuff and they own theirs and Iām not responsible for them.
I learned that I am worthy, which I couldnāt say a couple years ago, but thanks to Stephanie, who helped me believe in myself and I developed the ability to say ā I am more than worthyā! Working with Jewels and the other horses is a great experience...especially the day when I told myself Iām going with an open heart today and thatās when Jewels came to me from the back of their āpastureā even though Stephanie was standing right next to me.

I worked with Stephanie through my 3rd pregnancy and postpartum. It was the easiest postpartum period Iāve had. My husband even commented on how much better I was doing. I was calmer and less anxious and overall in a better mood.
